OUT OF HOURS
From 6.30pm through until 8.00am and all day on Saturday and Sunday, the out-of-hours service provides cover for patients. The surgery telephone will automatically put your call through to this service out of surgery hours.
WALK-IN CENTRE
There is a walk-in service at Horne Street Medical Practice that is open from 8.00am to 8.00pm every day of the year and all patients are welcome to use this service for minor illness or urgent care that does not warrant an A&E attendance. Examples of things that you could attend for are: family planning, coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms, minor cuts and wounds, dressings, muscle and joint injuries, skin complaints, sunburn, head lice, stomach ache, indigestion, vomiting, diarrhoea. If you attend the walk-in centre we will be notified so that we can ensure that your medical record is kept fully up to date.
